Beautiful Woldingham saw five Titaness braving the heatwave on Sunday. Though attendance was low it was a good competition with count backs for the first 4 positions.
Hely was on form this weekend having won at Dukes on Saturday and now taking the NP and LD price. Congrats Hely!!
Although Carolyn walked away with the thropy there was a stylish dress code infraction; however as a going away present the Captain may let it slide this time ;-)

Harleyford Ladies - 20th May 2018
Great turnout for the ladies with 8 attending the game at Harleyford. Hot and sunny day and with the halfway house being closed some of us were rather thirsty by the end of the round. The rough made it a tough round several balls have been left behind.
Signature hole NP went to nobody. Carolyn came closest with her ball just behind the green.
Excellent drive saw Susan winning longest drive on hole 17.

Sunningdale Ladies - 19th March 2017

The site of Nina’s first hole-in-one at Sunningdale Heath GC last Sunday (19 March 2017). A fantastic shot from the 142yd signature Par 3 9th. It was a warm, but not so sunny day – in fact, some pretty wet rain half way through. Despite this, some relatively good scores with Carmine coming in 1st, followed by Mako and then Nina (despite her 4-pointer on the 9th).

Back to one of our old favourites, Sherfield Oaks for our last fixture on the Ladies Tour. Not played here for 3 years but the course was well received, the weather was dry (if a little overcast) and there was some fine golf played, especially by Jenny Lawrence who breezed into first place with a fab 35 points. Well done Jenny! She was followed closely by Fay with 33 points, Sabina and Jane fought out 3rd and 4th place both on 31 points with Sabina winning on countback. Great to see Sabina in the points even with her dramatically cut handicap! Carmine took 5th place with 29 points and sadly no NP prize but another excellent drive from Meryll for the LD prize. Well done All!

Well done to Rita for a fantastic win at Pine Ridge with 35 points and taking the esteemed title of Super Titan!! Rita was also praised for always looking very stylish on the golf course :)
She was closely followed by Nina on 34 points, Fay on 33 points, Jenny P on 32 points and Jordan on 31 points (countback from Meryll also with 31 points). Meryll didn't go away empty handed though as picked up the LD prize with what we hear was an awesome drive and Jenny won the NP in 2 prize (no NP in 1 this time). Very well done to all. |

Back to one of our favourite courses, Hoebridge, for a great day of golf in perfect weather and with some really excellent scores. Well done to Sabina for a fantastic score of 40 stableford points!!! This has seen a serious cut to her handicap! Sabina was closely followed by Nina on 37 points (Nina also won NP with an amazing shot about 6 inches from the pin). Carmine came in 3rd on 33 points followed closely by Jane on 32 points with Mako taking 5th on 29 points. Fay picked up LD. Well done to all - if you you look at the Handicaps page you will see that all the 5 leading ladies have seen handicap cuts. The competition is hotting up!

Well done to Mako for her first Titans Ladies win! The playing conditions were perfect with clear blue skies and a gentle breeze and a great day was had by all (apart from Annabelle who had her clubs stolen the night before!). It was an excellent result for Mako who outplayed us all on 31 points. Also well played to Meryll and Jenny who came 2nd and 3rd respectively, both with 28 points (Meryll winning on countback). Carmine and Nina fought out 4th and 5th place, also both with 27 points and Carmine winning on countback. NP went to Meryll and LD to Fiona. Well done to all!

Only 6 ladies joined the men at Wycombe Heights but it was a great day out with good weather a very close set of results! Rita and Annabelle fought out 1st and 2nd place with the same score of 27 points and several countback scenarios eventually declared Annabelle the winner. Both also took LD and NP prizes so a good day for them! Fay took 3rd with 26 points and Sabina and Mako closely followed with 24 points, Sabina just pipping Mako on Countback.

Sunningdale 20th March 2016
We had 12 ladies kicking off our Ladies Tour at Sunningdale with some great performances. Well done to Emma for her win with 37 points followed closely by Fay on 35 points and Jane on 33 points. We then had 3 ladies all on 31 points with countback putting Meryll in 4th place and Doreen in 5th. Sadly this means Jenny P lost out on a placing however still picked up some points with a fantastic LD and Jenny L took the NP prize. Note the change from announcements on the day which had Jenny P in 5th, however an error in the scorecards meant this actually went to Doreen (sorry Jenny). A great effort by all and we had a dry day with smatterings of sunshine, followed by our traditional post Sunningdale pub lunch at the Dog & Partridge.
Welcome also to our guest Lizzie who played off an impressive 18 and came in with 32 points. We hope to see Lizzie back on the tour.

We were lucky to have a fine, dry day (although slightly windy) for our first event of 2016 at Pine Ridge with 10 ladies competing for the Founders Trophy. It was a closely fought battle with three people sharing 30 points and countback putting Nina in 3rd place, Meryll in 2nd place and Annabelle in the lead. 4th place went to Jenny P with 28 points and Rita, just pipping Sabina also on countback, came in 5th place with 26 points. Rita's NP actually puts her into 4th place on the leaderboard and NIna's longest drive was further than most of the men! We were blessed with fine weather for our end of season event at Wycombe Heights and the autumn colours were in full splendour! It was a most enjoyable day followed by the traditional roast dinner and prize giving / speeches. Winner of the Ray Kalnins trophy on the day was Annabelle with 33 points followed very closely by Nina on 32 points and so pleased to see Meryll take 3rd place in her first round as a full Titan! She also picked up longest drive so a great day for her. Fay came in a respectable 4th and it was also good to see Doreen in the points with a well earned 5th place. Congratulations also to our other new player Sabina who won not 1 but 2 NPs!! The overall winner for the tour was AGAIN our Captain Nina (see left collecting her trophy) who has really had a fantastic year, especially when you think she now plays off 20! Fay also had a brilliant year and chased so hard but had to settle for 2nd place in the end. Well done also to Jenny Paxman who came in with an excellent 3rd, plus Annabelle 4th and Rita in 5th place. Full results are on the Leaderboard page. |

Fay has done it again! Fay wins with 35 points at Ruislip, a new course on the Titans Ladies Tour. It was a beautiful day (hurrah!) which was very welcome after the extremely wet, soggy conditions we have been subjected to of late. Views regarding the course were mixed and not yet sure if it will be a regular on the tour but we all enjoyed the day. 2nd place went to Jenny with 32 points, 3rd place to Annabelle with 31 points, 4th place to Nina with 28 points and 5th place to Mako with 27 points. Mako also won the NP prize and we had a controversial split decision on the longest drive which was too close to call - Jenny and Annabelle therefore shared the prize and points. There are now three people battling it out at the top of the leaderboard - Nina, Fay & Jenny - but with a few games left on the tour it is all to play for! |

The first official game of the Ladies Tour - our traditional kick-off match at Sunningdale Ladies followed by lunch. The weather was extremely challenging for 10 brave ladies who were subjected to lashing win and rain for the full 18 holes. In fine Tital spirit we soldiered on and there were some surprisingly high scores given the conditions! Congratulations to Jordan Devaney who scored a fantastic 44 points! She was followed closely by Jane Agate who had a tremendous round with 41 ponts. Emma Bunting came in 3rd with 33 points. Well done to all.
We followed with a much needed and warming lunch at a local pub - The Dog & Partridge. A great find (thanks Fay) and one I am sure we will frequent again. Weclome also to our guest, Louise Bang, who we hope will become a regular on the ladies tour this year. |

The first match of the 2015 season - Founders at Pine Ridge - was won by Annabelle with 41 points. Just 5 ladies braved the February conditions but in fact it was a mild, mostly sunny day with no wind making for very comfortable golfing. Rita was runner up with an admirable 37 points and Fay came in 3rd with 30 points.

Leatherhead 21st September 2014
Annabelle was the well deserved winner of the last Ladies Tour event of 2014 and the President's Cup at Leatherhead Golf Club. This picturesque course was also the final new course on our itinerary this year and I think I speak for all of us when I say it was the toughest one yet, made all the harder by the gusty winds sweeping down the valley. It was a low scoring but closely fought competition with Anabelle leading us home on 24 hard fought points. Carmine came close in second place with 23 whilst Jenny P's strong end to season continued with 3rd place on count back from Shelagh on 21 points. Rita claimed the final spot in 5th. Despite a reviving brew at the tea hut on the 8th, the Nearest the Pin on the 9th proved just one challenge too far this week, whilst Jenny claimed her 2nd longest drive of the season.
With one more scoring event at Merrist Wood next month, the finishing line is in sight but who will win the coveted title of Titan's Ladies Champion 2014.

The Titan Ladies made the intrepid journey south to play another new course this season. Despite some reservations about the location, Woldingham proved to be a winner and a delightful course. The weather and views were stunning and it real great day's golf. Jenny Paxman destroyed the field with a stunning 41 point round and left us all trailing in her wake. I see a handicap cut on the horizon! Shelagh, Jane and Carmine obviously misread the cards and thought it was a Furthest from the Pin competition on the 17th with all 3 teeing off and landing within 3 feet of one another, 40 yards from the front of the green. Jenny Lawrence came second with 35 and Nearest the Pin and Nina 3rd on 33 and Longest Drive. I think we all agreed a return visit would be a welcome inclusion on next season's tour.
Silvermere 13th July 1014
The Ladies returned to Silvermere for the first time since 2012 and found this lovely course had lost none of its charm or bite. The signature closing holes over water were the undoing of many a scorecard as Nina and Annabelle battled it out for top spot. Nina took the honours by one point, scoring 29 points with newcomer Mako continuing her form in 3rd place and Carmine and Jenny P in 4th and 5th respectively. Unfazed on the 17th, Nina cleared the water to take Nearest the Pin and Jenny’s fabulous drive on the 10th claimed Longest Drive.

Gatton Manor 29th June 2014
It was a thrilling finish when the ladies played Gatton Manor in June when we had 4 ladies tying for 1st place with 24 points. After much checking of the cards, Rita recorded her 1st win of the Ladies Tour 2014, ahead of Nina, Jane and Annabelle respectively. Surprisingly, none of us made the green on the 10th for Nearest the Pin but Annabelle's driver claimed Longest Drive once again.
Finally, a warm welcome to our guests Judy and Mako who showed our regular players how it's done scoring 28 and 27 respectively. We look forward to them joining us again soon.

Pine Ridge 1st June 2014
Annabelle kept up her winning streak as the Ladies enjoyed the second mixed event of the year when they joined the Titan's Men at Pine Ridge for Spring Super Titans. With a winning score of 33 points and taking Nearest the Pin in 2, Annabelle was a clear winner again this week. However, the spoils were shared this time with Nina taking Longest Drive and Jane winning Nearest the Pin. As a result of two fantastic weeks, we have a new name at the top of the Leaderboard for the first time this year as Annabelle takes over from Nina. But, beware, Carmine's steady form continues, scoring 29 points to take 2nd place and remains in hot pursuit of our top two ladies.

The sun continues to shine on the Ladies' Tour as Wycombe Heights hosted our 3rd match of the season. Congratulations to Annabelle for her clean sweep of the board at Wycombe Heights on 18th May, scoring a commanding 35 points and taking Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin to blow the rest of the field away. Nina came second with 28 points to maintain her position at the top of the Leaderboard, with Carmine continuing her steady run of top 5 finishes with 3rd place this week.
Hoebridge 13th April 2014
The Titans Ladies were blessed with a day of glorious spring sunshine when they took to the greens and fairways at Hoebridge Golf Centre nr Woking. This has always been one of our favourite courses and provided a testing challenge after our gentle season start at Sunningdale. Jenny Lawrence blew away the rest of the field and won with a score of 33 points, 7 points ahead of our Tour Leader, Nina. As a result of a great performance, Jenny's handicap has come down by 2 to 24. Double congratulations to Annabelle who took the honours with Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive. Our first winner on the 2014 Tour was new Ladies Captain, Nina Humphreys, who conquered some challenging weather conditions and scored a commendable 30 points to take home the Founders Trophy.

Phew! Daphne was rescued by Fay at Chipstead and put back in her rightful place. It would have been terrible if a kestrel or buzzard had taken her.
Looking at this picture, you would not think that Laura Murphy had walked around Richmond Park golf course, carrying her bag in sweltering heat. She looks as if she's just come to the club house for a coffee! Well she did play and deservedly won the Jubilee Cup and Wimbledon Tennis Championships key ring on Men's Finals Day. Well done Laura and well done Andy Murray.
