Handicaps
Scoring is based on the Stableford system https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stableford. Handicaps are calculated on a very simple and recognised system, which is the old English Golf Union Associate programme calculation:
• Calculate Stableford points off scratch (ie a zero handicap)
• Deduct these points from 36
• Which gives the overall handicap
• An average of the season’s scores is then used for each match
